Energize ConnecticutSM is an initiative dedicated to empowering Connecticut consumers, businesses and communities to make smart energy choices through resources and information they need to make it easy to save energy. It is an initiative of the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund, the Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority, the state, and your local electric and gas utilities. The Residential New Construction (RNC) Program through Energize CT, which is administered by United Illuminating and CL&P, is one of the many Energize CT programs designed to help incentivize residential owners to incorporate energy efficient components into their home. The RNC Program also offers an incentive for homeowners or builders to comply with IECC 2009 code requirements for duct and envelope testing.
