The Connecticut Hoarding Working Group invites you to its
Fifth Annual Conference on Hoarding!
Hoarding Disorder is a mental health issue which impacts a significant part of our communities. The
content of this conference will focus on identifying Hoarding as a medical diagnosis and navigating
complex legal systems which often become involved when hoarding behavior impacts the functioning
and
safety of the individual and others. This conference will focus on the legal rights and
interventions for both
the community and individual in cases involving hoarding conditions and people with Hoarding
Disorder.
This presentation will be particularly beneficial for legal professionals, social service
providers, clinical
therapists, health and safety code officials, as well as other professionals hoping to acquire or
expand upon
their knowledge of Hoarding Disorder and intervention strategies.
