OEDM Seeks Trainers

We are hiring two Building Code Trainers to join the Office of Education and Data Management (OEDM) in Hartford. We're looking for experienced practitioners with deep working knowledge of the Connecticut State Building Code and its incorporated model codes who are ready to put that expertise to work in the classroom. In this hybrid, Monday–Friday role, you'll develop and deliver training programs that directly shape how the next generation of Building Officials are trained and licensed across the state.

Vinny Garofalo Scholarship Fund

We are happy to announce the Connecticut Building Official Association has established a Memorial Scholarship in the memory of Vinny. The scholarship will be awarded yearly to a Graduate of a Technical High School who exemplifies a commitment to detail within their elected trades. Please consider donating to this established scholarship fund, checks can be made out to "CBOA Treasurer" and marked as Vinny Garofalo Scholarship Fund.
